Bring your Google Maps lists into yummers
Have a list in Google Maps? yummers reads it from a link, so you can add every place at once. It takes about a minute.
Share the list in Google Maps
In Google Maps, open Saved and pick the list. Tap Share and let anyone with the link view it, then copy the link. The list has to be shared: yummers can't read a private one.
Paste the link in yummers
In the app, go to Lists, tap +, then Import a list and Paste the link. Touch and hold the box, tap Paste, then tap Find places.
Pick the places to add
yummers shows the places it found, with the sure matches already ticked. A match marked “Is this the one?” is only added if you tap Yes. Choose A new list (private, and you can rename it) or Want to try, or one of your lists, then tap Import.
If it doesn't work
- “We couldn't read that list.” The list is probably private. Open it in Google Maps, tap Share, let anyone with the link view it, and paste the link again.
- A place says “Not on yummers yet”. Tap Suggest them to yummers and we'll look at adding them.
- Your list has more than 500 places. Google sends 500 places from one link at most, so yummers imports the first 500. Paste the others as names, one per line, using I have names instead.
